Take It Away is an Arts Council England initiative to help more people purchase a musical instrument and learn to play music. You can buy a guitar, drum kit, keyboard, saxophone or any musical instrument and related amplifier on interest free finance.
The Take It Away interest free finance scheme is available to UK residents of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Stagebeat is one of a group of carefully selected retailers who have been appointed by The Arts Council Of England to offer the Take It Away musical instrument finance scheme. This allows individuals to apply for an interest free loan (0% APR) up to £2,000 for the purchase of any musical instrument. The loan is paid back in 9 monthly instalments, interest free. It is similar to a hire purchase of musical instruments.
With Take It Away you borrow between £100 and £2000 toward the cost of your musical instrument, and you can include music stands, sheet music, amplifier and other related accessories. Your musical instrument and accessories package can cost more than £2000.00 but the maximum loan balance after you have paid the deposit cannot be more.
You will need to pay a minimum deposit of 10% of the total purchase price by debit or credit card. The interest free loan is then paid back over nine months in equal instalments by direct debit. There is no administrative charge or handling fee when you take out the interest free credit loan, so you will never be paying more for your musical instrument than the original price.
