Power supply cable or lead to interconnect up to 5 guitar effects pedals to the same power supply unit (PSU).
Each guitar pedal must have the same polarity and voltage requirement.
This multi interconnect cable allows you to connect together several guitar effects pedals to the one matching power supply unit (PSU).
Check that the guitar effects power supply unit (PSU) has the correct output voltage, polarity and amp rating. Most guitar effects pedals will specify the voltage (V), polarity (+/-) and amperage (mA) required. Add together the amperage of all of the guitar pedals to interconnect. The combined total of up to 5 guitar pedals can be less than, but must not exceed, the max (mA) output of your power supply unit (PSU).
The multi connect power supply splitter cable works with the BOSS PSA-240 AC/DC regulated power supply (PSU) which is perfect for most BOSS guitar and bass guitar effects pedals and for some other Roland and BOSS products. The PSA-240 power supply (PSU) output is regulated and smoothed. This means that the voltage and current delivery are constant and almost no hum is produced. A regulated DC power supply with very low hum is essential when using guitar effects pedals, especially distortion pedals. Humbucker pick-ups reduce hum, hence the name, while single coil pick-ups are more prone to hum. To reduce hum, esp when using distortion pedals, try switching to the humbucker pick-up if your guitar has one, or switch to two single coil pick-ups combined if your guitar has single coils. An example of a humbucker guitar is the Gibson Les Paul and a single coil guitar is the Fender Stratocaster.
Max cable length between connectors: 110mm
