REVIEW: The 2 channels are perfect, the "Texture" goes through the dynamic smart technology, many tones to make and recreate and lets not forget the Reverb is "springedelic." BETTER THAN MARSHALL!!! MF

REVIEW: I got this wonderful amp a few months ago because I blew my spider III and also wanted to explore in the tube realm. I played one at my local guitar store and really liked that it has enough gain for hard rock and maybe metal, but can be toned down for alt rock, southern rock and blues. The clean channel has a bright switch which I use rarely, I just find it a little too bright. The lead channel sounds great if you keep the gain under 12 o'clock, anymore than that will start the buzzyness of the lead channel. There is a slight delay when switching channels, your signal will cut out for a very short but noticeable time. There is some rattling when playing loud, the reverb tank came loose. I like it well enough for the price, the speaker needs replacing. Simply not enough dynamics.

REVIEW: Alright, this is no AC30 or JCM 800, but for someone who has been forced to deal with solid state all of their guitar-playing years (2), it's INSANE!!!! The clean channel is amazing. I usually have the clean channel EQ'd at BASS: Full-on MID: 8 o'clock TREBLE: 4 o'clock. I like the tone you get with that EQ and Humbucker pickups. This has so much bass you can shake the house with the volume half-way on the clean channel. The lead channel leaves something to be desired. That something is: A good AC/DC type sound. You can sound like Nickelback or Disturbed or Metallica, but you can't get a good Classic Overdrive sound out of it. I will try to fine-tune it, then write down my settings so I can preserve them for future generations (or for me when I forgot how to set it). I did, however, find the perfect tubular distortion for Guns N Roses. Cheap Ibanez guitar and this amp can make you sound (almost) like Slash. I played Sweet Child Of Mine without missing a beat. My dad actually thought it was the CD until it got to the part where the drums kick in. Anyway, the bottom line is, if you want a really Modern sound, or even a classic sound (with some small adjustments), you should get this amp. You're not gonna find a better deal on a 112 Tube amp anywhere. Musicians Friend
