The sustain pedal footswitch has a solid metal foot switch section with a feel and size very similar to that of an acoustic piano. For students learning piano, or teachers teaching piano, and for keyboard players who want a professional sustain pedal footswitch, this Yamaha FC-4 pedal is perfect.

• 1.5m cable fitted with 6.3mm (1/4" mono male jack plug)
• When used with most keyboards the sustain pedal will activate sustain mode when depressed, and de-activate sustain mode when released.
• For some keyboards, this may operate the opposite way. If this occurs then switch the keyboard off with the pedal plugged in and then turn it on again. This should detect the polarity and the sustain pedal will then operate correctly. If not, then the sustain pedal polarity can be changed internally.
